MACHINE FEATURES
Structure
► The vertical saw frame allows the user to cut at any angle between 90° (straight cut) and
60° (miter cut) in both directions. The precision pivot system facilitates easy and accurate
adjustment for angle cuts. Angle changes are made through a manually actuated hydraulic
system with digital angle display or can be programmed through the auto-cycle
programming on the HMI. AV-2026NC requires no tools to make angle changes. Saw frame
also has an adjustable cant from 0 to 5 degrees.
Rigid and heavy-duty saw frame, bed and wheels provide for maximum vibration dampening and improved cutting performance.
► A 7.5 Hp motor provides significant torque at all speed ranges.
► The standard blade speed control provides infinite blade speeds (50 to 330 fpm) that can be
easily changed through to accommodate all types of materials.
Blade Guidance & Lubrication System
► Carbide guides securely guide the blade during the cutting cycle. Bearing guides eliminate
blade stress by pre-aligning the blade before it enters the carbide guides.
► Guide arms assure straight cuts and eliminate vibration for longer blade life. The guide arm
can be located as low as 5” above the worktable. The blade guide arm raises or lowers and
is hydraulically actuated.
Hydraulic Blade tension device insures proper blade tension for quality cuts and longer
blade life.
Integral Coolant System
Blade brush removes the chips from the blade, maximizing productivity and extending blade
life.
Control & Automation
► Cosen Advanced Touch Screen Control
Cosen now offers the latest in Touch Screen Control Technology. Coupled with a Mitsubishi
PLC controller the 10” Color Touch Screen allows for fast easy programming of any job. The
following are standard features:
1) 10” Touch screen
2) Mitsubishi PLC controller
3) Individual jobs can be programmed and stored
4) Angles on front and rear of part programmable
5) Bull-nose on front of part is programmable
6) Advanced encoder allows for accurate measurement
7) Can display cutting rate in Inches per Minute or Square Inches per Minute
Optional Blade Deviation Detection monitor can be controlled directly from Touch Screen
► The operator’s control station located on the front side of the saw is convenient and user
friendly. All operator controls are positioned on the top of the control box and clearly
labeled for ease of operation. The electrical components are located inside the control box
with the main lockout disconnect on the front of the control box for safety and easy
maintenance.
► Material Feeding is accomplished through a robust gear and rack system. The gear is driven
by a servo motor for fast and accurate movement. Material size selection is automatically
set when clamp is set.
Material Feeding & Clamping
► Dual Feed: Independently controlled feed rate and feed pressure functions achieve optimal
cutting performance. The feed pressure valve and feed rate valve are infinitely and
independently variable to assure maximum control under the most demanding applications.
Feed pressures ranging from 0 to 400 lbs are obtainable.
►Standard material clamping is accomplished with a high, left and right hand (optional) side
vise. Hydraulic vising is standard.
►Variable Vise Pressure is a standard feature. Variable vise pressure allows user to lower
clamping force to stop crushing or deformation of part.
►Overhead Clamps are an included option. These clamps allow for bundle cutting in the
minimum to maximum size ranges mentioned above.
Safety:
► Built-in sensor senses both blade slippage and blade breakage and will automatically shut off
the machine if either of these conditions should occur.
All exposed electric wiring and hydraulic circuit are protected by conduits.
► All appropriate covers and guarding on the saw are painted Alert Orange to increase safety
alertness.

Exclusive “V_Drive” – Mitsubishi touch screen with Exclusive Cosen “V_Drive” technology.
V_Drive allows for faster cutting rates in most materials while giving an increase in blade life.
Prism Vise –The prism vise is constructed to cut hexagonal shaped bundles without having to
loosen the pack. With the prism vise, there is more contact between the vises and the pipes;
the gap between pipes will be less as well. It will provide a more stable clamping force on the
material.

Extra Year Parts Warranty
WARRANTY
New machines are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment by Seller, or two thousand eighty (2080) hours of usage, whichever occurs first. Products, which under normal operating conditions in Buyer’s plant are defective in workmanship or material, will be repaired or replaced at the option of Seller. This warranty does not cover shipping freight charges for either the return of the defective part or for the shipping of the replacement or repaired part. Seller will have no obligation to repair or replace perishable parts, or materials or parts damaged by misuse, negligence or failure of Buyer to provide appropriate maintenance and service as stated in the operator’s manual or industry standard and normally acceptable practices. This warranty does not apply if the machine has been altered or modified without prior written consent of Seller. Seller will not assume responsibility for products or components returned to Seller without prior consent, or for unauthorized repairs to its products. This warranty applies to electrical components to the Buyer only if the voltage supplied to the machine is within the stated voltage of the machine by +/- 10% and grounded at machine.
Accessories Supplied with Manufacturer’s Equipment: The warranties available to the Buyer are those provided by the accessory manufacturer, if any, to the extent they are in force and effect. The ACCESSORY MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY, if any, is exclusive and is in lieu of all other
warranties whether written, oral or implied. In the case of components or units purchased by Seller including work holding devices, tool holders, motors and controls, the warranty shall not exceed that received by Seller from the supplier of such components or units, and Seller
may require Buyer to seek warranty relief from such component supplier or manufacturer.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED ABOVE SHALL BE THE SOLE WARRANTY PROVIDED TO BUYER BY SELLER. THE PARTIES AGREE THAT THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF. ALL IMPLIED
WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND WARRANTY FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.
